This is a traditional Victorian style rocking horse, hand-carved from American hardwoods. Bow rockers are solid oak. Very sturdy construction ensures years of use. Saddlery is superbly hand-crafted of full grain leathers with solid brass buckles and stirrups, and removable bit and bridle. The mane and tail are genuine horse hair approximately 20" in length. Glass eyes and traditional dapple gray coloring bring this horse to life. Horse and rockers are protected under several coats of hand-rubbed lacquer for years of durability.

The bow rockers measure 72" from tip to tip (length). The measurement at its widest point is 17". overall height (floor to tip of the ears) measures 40". The saddle is 30" off the floor. This size is perfect for a child 4-10 years old with adult supervision. The total weight of the rocking horse is 55 pounds.
